Laboratory Technician
Laboratory Technician at Cholistan University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, support laboratory operations and ensure that laboratory equipment is maintained and functioning properly. Performing laboratory tests and experiments, recording and analyzing data, and assisting with the preparation of research findings.
Responsibilities
1: Performing laboratory tests and experiments as directed by a supervisor or researcher. Using laboratory equipment and techniques to analyze samples and record data.
2: Maintaining laboratory equipment, including cleaning and sterilizing equipment, calibrating instruments, and ensuring that equipment is functioning properly.
3: Recording data from laboratory tests and experiments, and analyzing the data to draw conclusions and prepare reports.
4: Assisting researchers with experiments and projects, including sample preparation and data analysis.
5: Ensuring that laboratory procedures are conducted safely and in compliance with regulations and standards. Disposing of waste properly, and following safety protocols for laboratory equipment.
