Special Teacher

As a Special Teacher at Ababeel Institute of Special Education & Rehabilitation in Sindh, provide individualized educational instruction and support to students with special needs. Work with each student to create a customized education plan that meets their unique needs, abilities, and goals. Provide direct instruction to students in a variety of subjects, including language arts, etc.

Responsibilities

1: Adapt & modify instructional materials and methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students with special needs, including those with physical, cognitive, emotional, and developmental disabilities.

2: Assess student progress regularly, using a variety of formal and informal assessment methods, and make adjustments to instruction as needed.

3: Collaboratively with other professionals, such as occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive support to students.

4: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance and share information with parents and other stakeholders as needed.

5: Provide support & guidance to parents and families of students with special needs, helping them to understand their child’s unique needs.
