Operation Theatre Assistant Job Description
An (OT) Assistant is responsible for providing support to the surgical team during surgical procedures. Preparing the operating room for surgery by sterilizing equipment and setting up instruments. Assisting the surgical team by handing over required instruments, solutions and dressing materials during surgery.
Duties Include
1: Monitoring and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse and temperature of patients.
2: Keeping the surgical site clean and ensuring aseptic technique is maintained.
3: Disposing of sharps and hazardous waste according to established protocols.

A (LHV) is a trained healthcare professional who provides preventive and curative health services to women and children. Conducting health assessments and screenings for women and children.
