The National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan. Established in 2000 to maintain the national database of citizens of Pakistan. NADRA is managing & issuing identity documents to Pakistani citizens including National Identity Cards (NICs), Smart National Identity Cards (SNICs), and Pakistan Origin Cards (POCs).
Offices
NADRA has over 800 offices across the country, including mobile registration vans that travel to remote and rural areas to register citizens who may not have easy access to the main offices. Managing the national database, NADRA is managing voter registration and conducting national elections.
Online Services
NADRA has also introduced a range of online services to make it easier for citizens to access their records and apply for various identity documents. Services include the NADRA Online ID Card Application, which allows citizens to apply for a new or renew their national identity card online. NADRA is continuously working to improve its services & modernize its systems to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services to citizens of Pakistan.
